Patricia Mae Peterson's Obituary
Racine – Patricia Mae Peterson (nee Perkins), 78, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
Patricia was born in Rice Lake to the late John and Mabel (nee Milton) Perkins on November 21, 1941. She was united in marriage to Michael Jon Peterson on September 2, 1966. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2011. Patricia was employed by Kurten Medical Clinic and All Saints Hospital in the Medical Records Department for 13 years, retiring in 2000.
Patricia was socially active with her friends. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Being very crafty, she would join her friends at the Dr. John Bryant Community Center to sew, crochet, scrapbook, and make ceramics. Patricia enjoyed traveling with her husband on his Harley Davidson. She also relished road trips to scrapbooking stores throughout Wisconsin with her friends: Judie and Sue. Most of all and the reason Patricia retired, was to lovingly spend time with her grandchildren.
Patricia will be dearly missed by her children: Peggy (Grant) Sheldon and David (Erica) Peterson; grandchildren: Shayne Peterson, Grant Sheldon III, Taylor Peterson, and Grace Sheldon; great-granddaughter, Violet Peterson; special friends: Sue Orby and Judie Houdek; other relatives and friends. She is also preceded in death by her brothers: Robert, Raymond, John “Jack”, and Richard Perkins.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, November 9, 2020 beginning with a visitation at 10:00 A.M. A funeral ceremony will start at 11:00 A.M. A private service of committal and interment will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.wilsonfuneralhomeinc.com.
