Patricia Alice Krueger's Obituary
Patricia Alice Krueger, age 84, passed away at her residence on April 30, 2018.
On August 4, 1933, Patricia was born to James and Alice (nee Linde) Lyons in Milwaukee, WI. She was united in marriage to Wallace Krueger on August 23, 1952.
Patricia was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church. She was active with the Racine Literacy Council and volunteered at Ascension All Saints Hospital, Johnson Elementary and RCLA. Patricia enjoyed listening to music and going to outdoor concerts. She was an avid reader. Patricia was a gifted seamstress and created many teddy bears and quilts. She loved gardening and was very proud of her home and yard. She enjoyed taking her dog, Darlin, on walks and visiting with all of the neighbors. Above all, Patricia enjoyed getting together with her family and enjoying their company.
Left to cherish Patricia’s memory are her daughter, Karen (Christopher) Olson; her sons, Steven (Virginia) Krueger and Eric (Michelle) Krueger; her son-in-law, John McPhillips; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; her best friend, Orville Kothe; her furry companion, Darlin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Krueger; her daughter, Pamela McPhillips; her granddaughter, Kelly McPhillips; and her brother, Jay Lyons.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Wilson Funeral Home (1212 Lathrop Ave. Racine, WI). A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place at Graceland Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
