Pamela Johnston's Obituary
Racine- Pamela Sue Johnston (nee: Reese) - Born in St. Louis, MO, on December 19, 1947. Pam battled heart disease for many years which claimed her precious life and passed her into to God's arms on June 11, 2010 at the age of 62.
Over the years Pam was extremely active in her children's and grandchildren's lives and reveled in all they did. In the past, she was active in PTA, Horlick Music Parents Association, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, her Church, Church Choir, as well as many other community based organizations.
Survivors include her husband Jeff of the home, son Taggart Lane and his wife Emmy, two grandchildren Liam Gary and Lucia May of Lombard IL, son Toby Lynn and his wife Kris, two grandchildren Ethan Jeffory and Reese Amber of Sturtevant WI, her mother Mary Ann Reese of Wichita, KS, sister Kathy Schauf and her husband Ron of Dallas, TX, brother Richard Reese and his wife LaDeane of Hoxie, KS, sister Debbe Demieville and her husband Clifford of Wichita, KS, brother Ed Reese of Wichita, KS, and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly and will miss her. Pam was preceded in death by her father James Reese and mother-in-law Elma McDonald.
Pam's passing leaves a hole in the hearts of friends and loved ones who will remember her forever as Wife, Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt and Friend who always shared her gentile smile and warm heart and always had open arms to hug the ones she loved so dearly.
Funeral services for Pam will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 1:30pm at Grace Church (3821 Hwy 31) with Pastor Jim Olson officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Monday at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00pm and Tuesday at the church from 12:30pm until the time of service
