Orvilla M. Nierenberger's Obituary
Racine - Orvilla M. Nierenberger, 92, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Union Grove.
Orvilla was born on May 15, 1921 to Carl and Jennie May (Pansch) Anderson in Racine.
She was united in marriage to George L. Nierenberger in Kenosha on Feb. 14, 1943.
Orvilla was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. She was an avid player of dart ball, dominoes and playing cards with her friends at Lincoln Villas North Senior Apartments and more recently, with her friends at Hill Park Heights. She loved to play cards with her family as well.
Orvilla is survived by her son, Jim (Marlene) Nierenberger, two daughters; Kathy Andersen, Nancy (Dave) Sands and son-in-law, Gary Andersen. She is further survived by her grandchildren; Renee (Todd) Seeley, Sherry (Dave) Thomas, Denise (Dave) Pfeiffer, Kristy (Jed) Hunter, Tricia Sands and Jeff Hughes. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; Greg LaFerney, Jr, Tyler Pfeiffer, Seth Seeley, Cole Thomas, Olivia Pfeiffer, Payton Pfeiffer, Veronica Hunter, and Evelyn Hunter.
Orvilla was preceded in death by her husband, George Nierenberger, parents; Carl and Jennie May Anderson; brother and sister-in-law; Carl Jr. (Scotty) and Anna Anderson, Sister and Brother-in-law; Maxine and Earl Johnson, also by one grandson, Jimmy Nierenberger.
The family wishes to thank the team from Seasons Hospice and Mike from Lakeview Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care of Orvilla.

Funeral Services for Orvilla will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, May 12, 2014. The funeral service will take place at 7:00 pm. with Reverend Jan Kwiatkowski officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Private interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.
