Odelia "Corky" Mary Wenzel's Obituary
Odelia “Corky” Mary Wenzel, age 72, of Racine, WI, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at her residence.
Corky was born on September 2, 1944 to the late Donald and Martha (nee Neisius) Wenzel. She graduated from Washington Park High School.
Corky was a very loving sister and spent her life caring for others during her career as a nurse’s aide. Corky loved her dogs; they were her babies, and she cared for them as a mother would do. She was a diehard Packer fan and cheered her team on every week.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters: Cecelia Johnston, Patricia (Joe) Razdik, Jane Siegel, Linda York, Martha Avery and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Donald and Martha Wenzel; her brothers: John Wenzel, Jerome Neisius, Donald Wenzel, Michael Wenzel, and Kenneth Wenzel, and her sister, Donna Clark.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be made at www.wilsonfuneralhomeinc.com. Please consider memorials to the family.
