I met Nancy back in 1983 at a fun match with my dog Jingles (Shetland Sheepdog) having shelties we became fast friends. a longtime friend and mentor on training the Shetland sheepdog. Nancy became part of my family; she was instrumental in me meeting my wife Linda for which I will always be grateful. I think of you often especially when with my Shelties. I was fortunate to have two mothers in my life, Nancy being one of them.
I am now just finding out about Nancy’s passing. I am sorry to hear that, as I spent a little time with Nancy at the Villa being a roommate with her for a little while I was doing some rehab. She sure was a stubborn, tough cookie, but all the more, still likable. She didn’t speak often and when she did, it was about her children and grand children. Her face would light up and is like any mom always cherished the time with her family. I will miss you, Nancy Newman. You left an impression, I will never forget. May you rest peacefully. My condolences and prayers to the family.

I remember Nancy from dog training at the GRKC. She was always fun and had a great sense of humor. She was a great competitor and shared her knowledge. Great memories of her and her dogs. Rest easy Nancy.
