Whenever I could make a trip back to Racine, I always stayed with Nancy. I got to pamper her the whole time! We laughed and talked, ate good and shared so many things. It was a pleasure to be with her.....always laughing, enjoying and sharing. She was an inspiration to all of us.....her biggest remark was, "it could be worse".....never angry about her situation. She did what she could never expecting to sit and do nothing....kept her apartment up very well. So miss her......
“Nancy was a good friend for over 20 years. I loved the times we would go out for lunch and talked more than we ate.. In more recent years, I would bring a lunch to her apartment and once again we would talk and talk and then play a silly dice game together. She was a good listener and loved hearing stories about my grandchildren. We shared laughter, joys and sorrows.
Most of all, she inspired me with her strength and resilience amidst all of the health struggles she faced. I loved her friendship and will always miss her.”

Nancy was a sweet girl. We went to Lincoln Elementary, McKinley Jr High and Horlick High Schools together. My memories are of a girl who always seemed to have a smile on her face. We had not seen each other since our school days, but thinking of her brings a smile to my heart. Heaven gained another angel!

Nancy was a bright light during our time attending Bethel Tabernacle in Racine. We always loved hearing her beautiful voice whenever she sang! She was always smiling and lovely to be around!
