Milton Deschler's Obituary
Montello - Mr. Milton F. Deschler Jr., 77, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012.
Milton was born in Racine on February 23, 1935 to the late Milton Sr. and Beatrice (nee: Niehardt) Deschler. On July 26, 1959 he was united in marriage to Lela (nee: Layton). Together they moved to Montello in 1997.
Milton had been employed by Hamilton Beach before working for over 30 years at SC Johnson before his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, crafts, trains, and being outdoors, especially camping and swimming. He also had an interest in the Old West and Civil War history.
Milton will be dearly missed by his children, Milton III (Michele) Deschler, Kristi (Terry) Peterson, and Todd Deschler; six grandchildren, Kristi (Jorge) Delrey, Casey (Jared) Litvin, Kari Heinen, Dan Peterson, T.J. Deschler, and Dylan Deschler; three great grandchildren, Ryder, Travis, and Kailey; brother, Jerry (Kay) Deschler; sister, Shirley (Lee) Sherman; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela on August 27, 2011; and brother, Jackie Deschler.
Funeral services in honor of Milton will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 pm until the time of ceremony. Entombment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 9:00am. Please meet at the entrance of the cemetery.
