Michael Wallin's Obituary
Racine - Michael S. Wallin, 37, passed away unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007. He was made a hero that day by being an organ donor.
Michael was born in Superior on Dec. 2, 1969 to Henry W. Wallin and Susan (nee: Drolson) Feirtag. He lived most of his life in Racine. He was employed at Fliteway Technologies, Inc. for 5 years as an engineering manager.
Michael loved singing karaoke and boating. He was an amazing artist in welding and metal arts. He loved working on triumph motorcycles and playing his guitar. Most importantly being with his son. He enjoyed life to the fullest; he had a great sense of humor making everyone laugh.
He is survived by one son, Jacob Tyler Wallin of Racine; Jacob's mother, Chris Carbajal-Cox of Racine; mother, Susan Feirtag (Larry Lee Fox) of Superior; father, Henry W. Wallin of South Dakota; one sister, Randeen Bradle of Racine; three brothers, Duane (Nellie) Larson of Racine, Shawn (Julie) Larson of Racine, Cory Larson and Amanda Plunkett both of Superior; his girlfriend, Jennifer Devlin of Racine; Jennifer's son, Kyle Devlin of Racine; grandmother, Margie Larson of Superior; nieces and nephews, Jamie, Travis, Kerah, Kirsty, Christopher, Leo, Skylar, Kadence, and Kaylee; many aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vivian (Carl) Drolson and paternal grandfather, Leo Larson.
Relatives and friends may meet at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007 from 4-7 p.m. A Celebration of Michael's life will be held at 6 p.m.
Memorials in memory of Michael to the family have been suggested to help with funeral expenses.
