Michael Keith Traylor's Obituary
Michael Keith Traylor, age 69, of Zion, IL, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI.
On February 13, 1948, Michael was born to John and Mildred (nee Walker) Traylor in Dragerton, UT. They moved to Kenosha, WI when he was a child. Michael was a graduate of Tremper High School. He was employed by various companies, and he retired at age 62.
Michael enjoyed antique cars and motorcycles and was a member of the Kawasaki Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed exploring new places and was known for taking adventurous wandering trips. Michael and Carol enjoyed camping in their trailer at RB Resort. Michael had a sweet tooth and enjoyed Carol’s baking and cooking. His dogs were his constant companions. Above all, Michael loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol; his daughter, Mikki (Jason) Lockenwitz; his step-daughter, Chris Browne; his step-son, Ed Browne; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and special friends Roy and Mary Mukka. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred Traylor; his daughter, Sophia Kempf, and his son-in-law, Brian Kempf.
In keeping with Michael’s wishes, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Michael will be inurned at West Lawn Memorial Park.
