Michael John Lueck Sr.'s Obituary
Montello - Michael John Lueck Sr., age 71, passed away peacefully February 4, 2025, surrounded by his family. Michael was born on November 3, 1953, in Madison, WI, to the late Robert Sr. and Gloria Lueck.
On December 29, 1978, Michael married the love of his life, Rosemary Lueck (née Marini), at a ceremony at the Cupid Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Michael honorably served his country overseas during wartime, specializing in mechanics. His skills and dedication led him to a career as an owner/operator truck driver and a mechanic, working for companies such as Allied Van Lines, R & B Grinding, and Hygrade Furniture.
Michael found great joy in spending time with his family, playing games, and watching sports. In his younger years, he was an avid bowler, and he remained a passionate Green Bay Packers fan throughout his life. Among his favorite games to play with loved ones were cribbage and Left, Right, Center. His love extended not only to his family but also to his beloved dog, Candy, whom he considered the best companion.
Michael will be deeply missed by his children: Michael Jr. (Danielle) Lueck, Shawn (Annie) Lueck, Bonnie (John) Carroll, and Denise (James) Skinner; his 15 grandchildren; and his siblings Cindy Wendell and Bob Lueck Jr.
Michael was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Rosemary Lueck; his siblings Doug and Jim Lueck and Kathy Steffen; and his beloved grandchildren Austin Lueck and Nicholas Roseler.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery - Chapel of the Chimes on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the cemetery prior to services on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Entombment with full military honors will follow. A luncheon will follow at Golden Coral in Waukesha (1673 Arcadian Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186).
Memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to the Veterans Outreach, an organization dedicated to supporting those who have served our country.
Michael’s legacy of love, strength, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
