Maxine S. Norman's Obituary
Formally of Racine - Maxine S. Norman, 90, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 after several years of struggling with dementia.
Maxine was born on January 31, 1927 in DeWitt, IA, to Frederick and Emma Anderson, the youngest of 13 children. Maxine married the love of her life, Llewellyn G. Norman on September 26, 1947. Their only child, Mark, was born on April 19, 1955. Maxine devoted her life to her family and her church. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly and loved forever.
Maxine is survived by her son, Mark (Linda) Norman of Indianapolis, IN; grandson, Mark II (Tabitha) of Lewisville, NC; granddaughter, Krystle (Paul) Morrison of Fishers, IN; and great-grandchildren: Jake and Elizabeth Norman of Lewisville, NC and Tate and Lila Morrison of Fishers, IN; as well as, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her: husband, mother, father, and 12 brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Maxine’s Life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 starting with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. The Ceremony will begin at 12:00 noon with Rev. Jennifer Gleichauf. Committal Services will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
