Marvin Pater
RACINE—Marvin Charles Pater, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2015.
Marvin was born on September 19, 1922 to the late Benjamin J. and Clara (Rassmussen) Pater in Racine.
Marvin served in the Army Air Corp during World War II with the 305th Bombardment Group. After the war, he worked for NASH and American Motors for over thirty years. Marvin was very interested in History and enjoyed listening to classical music.
Marvin will be missed by his brother, Roland “Bud” Pater; along with other nieces, nephews, and loving extended family.
Full military honors will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery the interment to follow on Thursday afternoon, May 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonfuneralhomeracine.com.
Marvin’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints, especially those on the third floor, for their compassionate and loving care of Marvin.
