Mark Anson Farrar's Obituary
Racine-Mark Anson Farrar, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Aurora Medical Center Mount Pleasant.
Mark was born to Delbert and Allie May (nee Anson) Farrar on October 25, 1950, in Kewaunee, Illinois. Mark was a proud military man. He served his country in the United States Navy as a Senior Chief Radioman on C-130s for 22 years, retiring in 1994. Mark had many hobbies, some of which included playing guitar, art, fishing, camping, and reading.
Mark will be deeply missed by his children: Karen (Tim) Lavota, Jenny (Brian) Sack, and Mark (Katlin) Farrar Jr.; grandchildren: Dakota Lavota, Austin Sack, Wyatt Sack, River Paxton, Autumn Paxton, Willow Farrar, and Dahlia Farrar; mother, Allie May Farrar; siblings: Lee (Sharon) Farrar, Bryan Farrar, and Raegan (LeRon) Hromatko; former wife, Christine Luedtke; along with many other relatives and friends.
Mark is predeceased by his father, Delbert Farrar, and great-aunt, Kitty Epperson.
Private inurnment with full military honors for Mark will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Iris and the staff at Wisconsin Veterans Home - Boland Hall for their wonderful care of Mark.
