Mark Allen Dresen's Obituary
Mark Allen Dresen, age 63, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI.
On January 8, 1955, Mark was born to Ervin and Elaine (nee Jordan) Dresen in Racine, WI. He attended St. Catherine’s High School and graduated from UW Whitewater. Mark was united in marriage to Debra Ann Sesso at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 1977. He was employed for 30 years by the City of Racine in the Public Works department. After retirement, he worked at Stein’s Garden Center.
Mark loved his animals. He enjoyed golfing and beating everyone at Cribbage. Mark was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his children play volleyball.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie; his three children: Matthew, Daniel, and Holly Dresen; two brothers, three sisters-in-law, three nieces, one nephew, his in-laws, and four furry companions. Mark was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home (1212 Lathrop Ave.). There will be a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
