Marjorie B. Rendall's Obituary
Oak Creek- Marjorie B. Rendall, 96, peacefully went to the Lord on March 15, 2021.
Marjorie was born to the late Paul and Cora (Alderson) Graf in Mt. Hope, Wisconsin. She graduated from UW-Platteville. During her senior year she met her future husband, the late William Rendall Jr. They were united in marriage on June 28, 1947 and spent 66 beautiful years together. Marjorie and William moved to Sheboygan where she taught Home Economics. Later, they moved to Oak Creek and she taught as a substitute teacher although her main occupation was a homemaker. After her children reached adulthood, she worked security at Mitchell Field for many years. She was a talented seamstress and would often make clothes and winter coats. Marjorie enjoyed cooking, canning and traveling to Florida with William to visit her brother. As a member of the Frist Presbyterian Church in Racine, she helped in the nursery and would often volunteer her time in the church’s kitchen. Marjorie was also a member at Annie Laurie’s Women’s Scottish Organization.
Left to cherish Marjorie’s memories are her children, William J. Rendall III, Jeanette Rendall, Paul (Heidi) Rendall, Richard Rendall and Elizabeth (Erick) Hoffmaster; grandchildren: Nathaniel (Laura) Rendall, Kathryn (Travis) Laubenstein, Emily (Andres) Rendall-Araujo, Sarah (Adam) Lovinggood, Rachel (Ryan) Rendall, Hannah Rendall, Isaac (Sara) Hoffmaster, Naomi Hoffmaster, and Jacob (Kayla) Hoffmaster; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her loving husband, William J. Rendall Jr; parents: Paul and Cora Graf; siblings and their spouses: Ruby (Leslie) Beadle, Dr. George (Mary) Graf, and Dr. Christopher (Janet) Graf; in-laws: Jessie Rendall, Elizabeth Rendall, Thomas (Myrtle) Rendall, David (Gladys) Rendall, George Rendall, John Rendall, Margaret Rendall, Jean (Burton) Christiansen/ (William) Bloedorn and Mary (Clement) Soul; father-in-law: William J. Rendall Sr.; and mother-in-law: Jessie Rendall.
A Celebration of Marjorie's Life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorials may be donated to Habitat for Humanity in Marjorie’s name.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Durbin, his staff and Hospice Alliance for taking care of Marjorie at the end of her earthly life.
