Marjorie "Marge" Jane Grunewald's Obituary
Racine – Marjorie “Marge” Jane Grunewald, 86, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Azura Memory Care of Oak Creek.
Marge was born to the late Edward and Helga (nee Sorenson) Woelfel on September 23, 1937, in Racine. She worked at Multi Products Company in Racine for several years, retiring in February of 2012.
Marge was an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox. She was known for having a green thumb, always tending to her garden. Marge was a season ticket holder at the Racine Theatre Guild. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also loved her dogs with all her heart.
Marge will be deeply missed by her children: Craig (Karen) Grunewald, Patrice Grunewald, and Debra Grunewald; grandson, Michael (Amanda) Grunewald; great-grandson, Julian Grunewald; loving dog, Blake; along with several other relatives and friends.
Marge was preceded in death by her sisters: Lois (Steve) Wayo and Naomi (Ken) Hubert; longtime friend, Rose Tuinstra; Patrice’s forever fiancé, Michael Neumann; and special dog, Buddy.
Funeral services for Marge will be private. Her final resting place will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Mount Pleasant.
