Marion M. Chesick's Obituary
MILWAUKEE - Marion M. Chesick, 94, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Jewish Home and Care Center in Milwaukee.
Marion was born on March 21, 1920 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Olaf Andersen and Cecilia (Kauth) Andersen. On August 4, 1945, in Burlington, she was united in marriage to Robert ‘Bob’ Chesick.
She was a member at St. Edwards Catholic Church, where she volunteered in the Altar society, and also provided for many bake sales.
Surviving are her children: James (Jane) Chesick of Beloit; Kathleen (John) Bohn of Racine; and Elaine Dyer of Caledonia; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Chesick; her parents: Olaf and Cecilia Andersen; her sister: Ruth Dorff; and her brother: Alfred Olaf Andersen.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 10 a.m. with Deacon Keith Hansen officiating. Burial will follow the service at Holy Cross Garden Court Crypts on Highway 32. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the Jewish Home and Care Center of Milwaukee or the Alzheimer’s Association.
