Marguerite Thora Holden's Obituary
Racine - Marguerite “Muggs” Thora (nee: Nielsen) Holden, 92, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 in Racine.
Marguerite was born in Minnesota on March 12, 1922. She was married to Lyle R. Holden on September 25, 1948 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Marguerite worked as a secretary for Jacobsen Manufacturing for fifteen years. She was a lifetime member of the Women of the Eastern Star and she enjoyed playing Bingo every night. Marguerite was a great mom and was always there for her family. She was a lot of fun to be with.
Marguerite is survived by her son, Richard Holden and daughter, Vicki Meroff, grandchildren; John (Cathy) Studey, Marcy (Joe) Axtell , David Holden, Shannon Miller and Christina Miller. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; Auden Larsen and fiancee’ Katie, Jessica Beck, Morgan Axtell, Peyton Axtell, Christian Axtell, and Kylee Holden.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle and two sons; James Holden and Terry Holden.
Per Mrs. Holden’s wishes, she will be cremated with a private inurnment at Mound Cemetery.
