Margaret A. Rash's Obituary
RACINE – Margaret A. Rash, age 80, passed away on June 2, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
Margaret was born in Racine on October 8, 1935 to the late George S. and Florence Cormack. She was raised in Racine and graduated from Washington Park High School prior to attending Northwestern University in Evanston IL.
Among her many interests and talents, Margaret loved reading, gardening, history, and authored numerous crossword puzzle books. More than anything, Margaret was a caring individual who put the needs of her family first.
Margaret is survived by her children: Katherine Flynn and Edward (Elizabeth) Rash; grandchildren: Alexandra (Jeremiah) Matson, Neal Baughman, Anna Baughman, Joseph Rash, and Lillian Olson; great-grandchildren: Isabella and Maddox Matson, and Hayes Olson; sister, Mary (Eugene) Thomas, cousin, Vonnie Youngs; nieces, nephews, other dear relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Cormack.
A celebration of life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Private inurnment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
