Lynette Patricia Lewens' Obituary
Racine-Lynette Patricia Lewens, 73, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa.
Lynette was born to the late George and Lila (nee Iffinger) Lieungh on November 25, 1949, in Escanaba, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Robert Lewens Jr. on October 3, 1998, in Branson, Missouri.
Lynette worked as a financial planner, who owned and operated Lewens Financial Group. Throughout the years, she loved going on vacations with her family. Lynette enjoyed gardening, loved animals, was an avid collector of antiques, elephants, tea pots, and autumn leaf dinnerware. She took pleasure in making her own wine, which gave her the benefit of having a daily glass of wine. In her younger years, Lynette and her husband, Robert, enjoyed golfing and bowling together. She had a loving personality and always cared for everyone.
Lynette will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Robert; children: Matt (Andrea) Mokry, Heather (John) Ocasio, and Michael (Sarah) Mokry; grandchildren: Bianca, Kelsey, Zachary, Joseph, Abbey, Ethan, Samuel, and Lila; great-grandchildren: Mason and Catalina; step-granddaughter, Crystal (Lando) Santos; siblings: Michael (Lisa) Lieungh, John Lieungh, and Randall (Laura) Lieungh; brothers-in-law, David Lewens and Michael (Laura) Lewens; along with several other relatives and friends.
Lynette is predeceased by her grandson, Gideon; and siblings: George Lieungh, Richard Lieungh, and Elizabeth Lieungh.
A celebration of Lynette’s life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lynette’s name may be directed to The H.O.P.E. Safehouse (1234 Lathrop Ave, Racine, WI 53405) and/or Autism Speaks (3500 W Peterson Ave #204, Chicago, IL 60659) Donations to Autism Speaks can also be made online at www.autismspeaks.org.
