Louise Eileen Payton's Obituary
Kenosha, WI – Louise Eileen (Nee: Smith) Payton, 92, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Kenosha.
Louise was born in Canada to the late Lewis and Eileen (Nee: Lord) Smith on March 27, 1924.
Louise dedicated her life to helping others, working as a teacher in Canada and Racine and also as an active member of The Salvation Army. She celebrated life by loving her family.
Louise is survived by her children: Don (Connie) Milestone, Bill (Hope) Milestone, and Sharron Marcado; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor (Len) Dallen; one nephew, Larry (Katy); and two nieces, Lena and Darcie. Louise was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Pagels; son-in-law, Bob Marcado; and a grandson, Joe Prott.
A celebration of Louise’s life will be held at the West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor John Fleming officiating. Interment will follow in a crypt shared with her daughter, Lori. Memorials may be made to Ryan’s House of Hope, 1215 Thor Avenue, Racine, WI 53405.
