Louis Breidinger's Obituary
Mr. Breidinger, 84, passed away at Harbor House on Saturday, January 13, 2007. He was born in Racine on Jan. 23, 1922 to the late Theodore and Rose (nee: Collins) Breidinger. He lived most of his life in Racine. He was united in marriage to the former Mabel Crim in Racine on June 8, 1946. She preceded him in death on Dec. 15, 1988.
He was employed for the City of Racine in the Public Works department for 25 years retiring in 1974. Prior to working for the City of Racine, Louis loved cooking and was an avid chief for local restaurants.
He is survived by his children, Sharen (Charles) Peshek, Terry (Micky) Breidinger all of Racine, four grandchildren, Michelle (Lee) Bernhardt, John (Tami) Peshek, Shawn (Elizabeth) Breidinger, Jessica Breidinger, five great-grandchildren, Cassie, Jason, Austin, Alix and Megan, an aunt Joyce Breidinger, brother-in-law, Melvin Jung, special friend and companion, Virginia Groth, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore Breidinger and Robert Curtis and a sister, Betty Jung.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Albert Guetzlaff officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Thursday evening, Jan. 18, 2007 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Memorials in memory of Mr. Breidinger to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
