LoRayne Josephine Swencki's Obituary
Racine – LoRayne “Lodzia” Josephine Swencki, 94, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Lakeshore Manor.
LoRayne was born on February 21, 1920 to Stanley and Viola Tomczak in Racine, Wisconsin.
LoRayne was the matriarch of her family. She was a strong, caring and generous person. She was greatly influential in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She was also devoted to her husband, Joseph “Joey” for 65 years. She was affectionately known as “Granzy” by everyone in her family.
LoRayne is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Mark) Brusky, daughter-in-law, Debbie Swencki,
grandchildren; Maxwell (Lindsey) Brusky, Stefan (Barbara) Brusky, Adrian Brusky, Noah (Brooke) Brusky,
Quinn (Michael) Boero, Gavin (Carissa) Swencki, Stefanie (Nicholas) Ostermann, great-grandchildren;
Henry and Claudia Brusky, Waylon Brusky, Braxton and Mallory Brusky, Axel and Layla Boero, Mason Swencki and Landon Ostermann. She is also survived by special friends, Hattie Knuckles, Carmella Marino and Sabene Grzyb.
LoRayne was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph who passed away in 2006, her son, Joel A. Swencki , who died in 2004, her sister, Bernice (Tim) Patrick and her brother, Edward (June) Tomczak.
The family wishes to thank the Lakeshore Manor staff for the most loving and compassionate care possible, given to LoRayne, also a special thank you to Hattie for her close and deep friendship.
