I am so honored that Aunt Chickie and Uncle Russ were my Godparents. They were very special to me. I remember growing up and going over to their house to visit. Aunt Chickie would go downstairs and come back up with a box of cracker jacks. She always had a lovely smile on her face. I used to work at Country Kitchen and her and Uncle Russ would always come in and get a steak dinner with coffee. One day one of the workers said look at the lovely couple sitting over there. They are just so sweet. I looked over and I said they are my Godparents. The workers even enjoyed them. I still have the letters that we would write back and forth to each other. Aunt Chickie had just the loveist smile on all the time. I will truely miss her. I was glad to see her last summer and talk with her. I will miss you and love you so much. You were a wonderful lady.
So very sorry for your loss, Cher & myself are both working today, I will always remember when my kids were younger and we would stop and see Lois for milk and cookies.
