Mount Pleasant – Lois May Langdon, age 75, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Ridgewood Care Center in Mount Pleasant.
Lois was born on May 30, 1949, in Racine County, to the late Donald and Viola (née Voge) Bertelson. She graduated from Park High School in Racine. Over the years, she worked at Larsen's Bakery in Racine, sewed police uniforms as a talented seamstress at Badger Uniform, and served as a sales associate at Walmart, where she retired in 2008.
On December 24, 1969, Lois married the love of her life, Aaron “Dick” Langdon, at Christ Church United Methodist in Racine. Together, they traveled extensively across the United States and proudly completed all 120 of Wisconsin’s Rustic Roads. Dick preceded Lois in death on January 30, 2024.
Lois attended Christ Church United Methodist and found great joy in sewing, knitting, crocheting, and crafting of all kinds. An avid outdoorswoman, she enjoyed deer hunting and cherished time spent with friends during dinner gatherings at Yuni’s Avenue Café and other favorite restaurants.
Above all, Lois loved spending time with her family, creating memories and nurturing relationships that will be forever cherished. Her kindness, creativity, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
