Lloyd Spranger's Obituary
Mr. Spranger, 63, passed away at his home on Friday, December 21, 2007, surrounded by his family. He was born in Poplar Bluff, MO on April 8, 1944 to the late Lloyd and Irene (nee: Jarrell) Spranger. He lived most of his life in Racine. He was united in marriage to Marie Miller, in Racine, on Aug. 9, 1979.
He was employed at J.I. Case Co as a machinist for over 30 years retiring in 1994, he also worked part-time at R & B Grinding for many years. He was a member of 437 Moose Lodge of Racine, proud member of UAW Local 180, loved camping and spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Miller; his sons, Paul Spranger, Patrick (Kim) Hetchler, daughters, Helene (Oscar) DeLeon, Renee (Robert) Bauman, Colleen (Mark) Kane; grandchildren, Toby, Corey, Hailey, Nick, Amanda, Cassy, Genna, Adam and Cindy; two great-grandchildren Lydia and Brandon, many foster grandchildren and foster great-grandchildren; three sisters, Judy (Roy) Ours, Donna (Clifford) Gronholm, Mary Spranger, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, David and Gordon Spranger.
A Memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church 3015 Durand Ave., on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Joan Jacobson-Wolfe officiating. Friends may meet with the family at the church on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
