Lloyd Eugene Olson's Obituary
RACINE- Lloyd Eugene Olson, age 78, of Racine, passed away at All Saints Hospital on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.
Lloyd, or “Pug”, as he was known, was born in Elroy, WI on May 11, 1937 to Morris Sr. and Evelyn Olson, and resided in Racine since 1943. He was united in marriage to Donna Mae Rice (Roushia) Olson on June 30, 1989. Donna preceded him in death on February 13, 2012. He was employed with O’Brien Remodeling until he retired. Pug was a devoted husband, friend and family man. He enjoyed his yard and garden, his pets, and woodworking—creating everything by hand.
Pug will be dearly missed by his four daughters, Terry Lueckfeld , Dorothy Rayfield, Barbara Wimmler, Karen Roushia, and his only son-in-law Ronald O’Brien. His 9 grand-children and their spouses. 18 ½ great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Morris Jr., and his sister, Marlen Olson, his lovely wife, Donna Olson, and youngest daughter, Annette O’Brien.
Funeral Services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, 1212 Lathrop Avenue, Racine on Saturday, October 31 at 12:00 noon. Visitation with the family will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park.
