Linda Gail Torres' Obituary
Racine – Linda Gail Whitt, 63, unexpectedly went home to be with Jesus Christ on January 31, 2019.
Linda was born in Iaeger, West Virginia to the late Gathern Sampy and Bertha Pauline (nee Street) Whitt on November 15, 1955. She was united in marriage to Shorty Torres. Linda was employed for 35 years with different companies, yet she enjoyed waitressing because she loved the conversations with the customers. She retired at the age of 53.
Some of Linda’s hobbies included: Sudoku, crossword puzzles and coloring. She also liked to play Bingo. Her favorite color was purple.
Linda will be dearly missed by her children: Christopher Pugh and Karrie Pugh; grandchildren: Kayla Pugh, Kristina Dipasquale, Allyssa Pugh, Kyle Pugh, Kasey Lee, and Koty Pugh; brothers: Larry (Bobby Jo) Whitt, Kevin (Brenda) Whitt, and Jeffrey Whitt; aunts and uncles: Marylou (Royce) Whitt, Denise Street, Donna Andersen, Dale (Debbie) Street, Timmy (Sue) Street, David (Cheryl) Street; nieces and nephews: Kristy (Donny) Donovant, Shawn (Tonya) Dehne, Danny Whitt, Brian Whitt, Tommy Whitt, Hannah Berget, Sarah and Rachael Whitt, Matt Stone, Luke Whitt, Nick and Joe Michalkiewicz; and other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanie Dehne; grandmother, Chloe Whitt; mother-n-law, Rose Pugh; first cousin, Gary Babilon; uncles and aunts, Leon (Jean) Street, Ernest Street, Edward Street, Ruth Pavolich, Arlene Babilon, Velva (Edward) McGuire, Valice Whitt, Maxine Jean Whitt, and Sterling Whitt.

A celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Committal services will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
