Linda Lou Spencer's Obituary
Racine-Linda Lou Spencer, 74, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, September 16, 2022, at her residence.
Linda was born to the late Russell and Mildred (nee Watkins) Ellenberger on November 12, 1947, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Spencer on July 1, 1977, in Racine.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was full of life. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and watching scary movies. Linda was also easy to talk to. She loved her husband, Robert, and her family with all her heart. She also loved her dog, Queenie.
Linda will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Robert Spencer; daughters: Sarah (Kris) Gursky and Victoria Spencer; grandchildren: Damarion, Kristal, Morgan, Ledell Jr., Michael, Miley, Alizee, Codi, and Robin; great-grandchildren: Sophie, Isabella, and Elnora; brothers: Ted Ellenberger and Jim (Janet) Ellenberger; brother-in-law, Erv Rokay; step-daughter, Michelle Spencer (David Rady); best friend and niece, Christine (Sokol) Hysi; along with several other relatives and friends.
Linda is predeceased by her brothers: Bill Ellenberger and Joe Ellenberger; sister, Bonnie Rokay; along with her father and mother-in-law, Albert and Dorothy Spencer.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Private interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
