Linda Schoeffler's Obituary
Kenosha- Linda, 62, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove. She was born in Racine on January 15, 1949 to the late Frederick and Eleanor (Nee: Golz) Schoeffler. She lived most of her life in Racine. She was employed at Acme Die Casting as a foreman for 35 years and at BRP for 6 years as a quality inspector. Linda enjoyed basket weaving, cooking, jewelry making and spending time with her nephews. She enjoyed bowling and traveling in the United States and abroad to France and Belgium. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three siblings; Judith (Randall) Nelsen, David Schoeffler all of Racine, Susan (James) Sanford of Madison; nephews, Jamie (Jody) Auman, Brian (Chris)Auman, Michael Edler; two great-nephews, Nickoliss and Jacob Auman; one great-niece, Alexis Auman; step-great-nephew, Taner Nelsen; special cousins, John, Jim, Debbie, Patti, April and other relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Olson.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 3350 Lathrop Ave on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 7 p.m. with Pastor Timothy Schellenbach officiating. Inurnment will be private for the family. Friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday evening from 6p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
