Linda Renee Johnson's Obituary
Linda Renee Johnson, age 58, passed away on April 10, 2017 at her mother’s home in Racine, WI after an extended illness.
On April 19, 1958, Linda was born to James and Shirley (nee Lettau) Johnson in Racine. She was educated in area schools and graduated from Case High School.
Linda enjoyed being creative. Whether it was painting ceramics, arranging silk flowers, or remaking items into something new, she excelled at it all. Linda was noted for her decorating skills and would often be asked for her suggestions by others. Above all, Linda was family oriented. She was a supportive mother and took pride in watching her sons play sports when they were young. Linda was an incredible grandmother, daughter and sister.
Left to cherish Linda’s memory are her two sons: Christopher (Erika) Lopez and Aaron (Danielle) Lopez; her grandchildren: Xavier, Mason, and Olivia; her mother, Shirley Johnson; her sisters: Julie (Jeff) Jonas, Susie (Mark) Soderlund, Rhonda Loomis, Sandy (Kevin) Cook, Vicky Johnson, Tammy (Joe) King, Brenda (Nick) Aiello, and Roxanne (Mark) King; her aunt, Margaret Elaine “Lanie” Johnson, and many other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, James Johnson; her uncle and aunt, Gordon and Betty Johnson; and her brother-in-law, Kevin Loomis.
In accordance with Linda’s wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Christopher and Aaron wish to thank the amazing doctors and nurses at Froedtert Hospital and those at Aurora at Home Hospice for the compassionate care given to Linda during her illness. They also wish to thank their grandmother and aunts for all of their help during this time. They couldn’t have done it without them.
