Laura Louise Gustin's Obituary
Burlington – Laura Louise Gustin, 68, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI on April 16, 2020. Laura was born in Racine on January 28, 1952, to Harry and Louise (nee Rogers) Bastin. Laura was united in marriage to Michael A. Gustin on March 19, 1982, in Racine. Laura liked to spend her free time reading and growing her own vegetables. Together, with her husband, they raised 40 chickens, and sold the eggs. Laura also loved spending time up north on their land near the Michigan border riding ATV’s and UTV’s with her grandchildren. Above all, her grandchildren and Old English Bulldog, Maggie ,were the apples of her eye. She and Maggie took many walks at the dog park. Laura will be dearly missed by her husband, Michael; children: Kyle (Shari) Gustin and Sandra Wrench; granddaughters: Alyssa Rose, Nataley Marie, and Bellamay Gustin; brother, Fred Bastian; sister, Diane (Charles) Stuber; brothers-in-law: Brian (Carrie) Gustin, Bill (Jill) Gustin, Tom Gustin; sisters-in-law: Barb Gustin, Mary (Willie) Gustin Andersen, and Connie (Mike) Lombard.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy L. Smith; parents, Harry and Louise Bastin; brother, David A. Bastin; and mother-in-law, Barbara “Diane” Gustin.
A celebration of Laura’s life will be held at a later date due to the pandemic
