Kenneth Donald Tabaka's Obituary
Kenneth Donald Tabaka, age 63, passed away on December 28, 2015 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare with his family by his side.
Ken was born in Racine on October 2, 1952 the son of Donald and Joyce Tabaka. He was united in marriage with Diane Crabtree on September 14, 1973. Diane preceded him in death on June 15, 2015.
Ken proudly served his country in the US Army and was stationed at Fort Bragg. He worked at both Massey Ferguson and as a Bindery Supervisor for WS Packaging. Ken retired from WS Packaging on October 1, 2015. He considered his co-workers his second family.
Ken loved spending time with his beloved dog, Asa, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jennifer Tabaka (Michael Welch): his grandchildren; Brandon Baran and Ariel Welch; his mother, Joyce Tabaka; his mother-in-law, Betty Crabtree, and other family and friends.
Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Diane; his two sons, Christopher and Robert, and his father, Donald Tabaka.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
