Keith Allen Thew's Obituary
Racine - Keith Allen Thew, lovingly known as Skeeter to his close family, passed away on March 14, 2024, in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, surrounded by his loved ones.
Keith was born on May 20, 1962, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to the late Gerald William and Sandra Theresa (nee Muehleck) Thew.
Keith was devoted to his beloved Kim Einwalter, whom he met in Milwaukee in 2007. He showed his unwavering love and compassion for Kim by becoming her caregiver. Keith had a very special relationship with his daughter, Allison. During the end of Keiths life, she showed unconditional love and support. Allison will forever miss the dance parties they had every night.
Keith served in the United States Army from summer of 1983 to summer of 1986. A true Wisconsinite through and through, Keith was a passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He found joy in cheering on his favorite teams and sharing the excitement of each game with friends and family. Keith also enjoyed watching NASCAR. Among his many passions, Keith cherished nothing more than spending quality time with his grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come. With a heart full of laughter and a playful spirit, Keith was always ready to lighten the mood with a well-timed joke. Keith leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Keith will be deeply missed by his children: Jeremiah John Castle, Joshua Allen (Robin) Thew, Andrew James (Alaina) Bennett, Timothy Guy Thew, and Allison Rose Einwalter; grandchildren: McKayla Lynn Castle, Shawn Allen Thew, Brett Richard Thew, Madison James Bennett, and Olive Kay Bennett; brothers: Greg (Claudia) Thew, Brad (Janna) Thew, Walter (Gennelle) Thew; sister, Donna (Doug) Funk; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Keith is preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Fugate; brother-in-law, Gordon Fugate; and his beloved dog and best friend, Bentley.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Ascension Cancer Center, for their ongoing care and compassion of Keith.
