Kathryn Sue Smith's Obituary
West Allis – Kathryn Sue Smith, 56, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at her residence.
Kathryn was born in Racine, Wisconsin on November 8, 1957 to Raymond W. Hecht and Eunice (Hartig) Hecht. She graduated from Waukesha County Technical College. Kathryn volunteered at Packer games in the concessions to raise money for pancreatic cancer research. She was passionate about animal rescue, including her own dog, Lady. She was also involved with her grandchildren’s activities and frequently attended their youth sports games.
Kathryn is survived by her three sons; Adam (Selena) Smith of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Matthew Smith of Greendale, Wisconsin, and Andrew (Dee) Smith of Pewaukee, Wisconsin. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; Marya, Tyler, Karen and Dylan; brother, Ken Hecht and other cousins, relatives and friends.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Eunice Hecht and sister, Beverly Hecht.
A celebration of Kathryn’s life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Wilson Funeral Home at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 8:30 am until the time of service.
