Kathleen M. Crawford's Obituary
Mount Pleasant – Kathleen M. Crawford, age 82, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin.
Born June 16, 1943, in Mondovi, Wisconsin, Kathleen was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Verna (née Kwosek) Hart. On September 1, 1962, she married the love of her life, Robert Crawford. Together, they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in October 2021.
Kathleen was a woman of many joys and talents. She loved the simple pleasures of life — playing bingo, working on puzzles, scrapbooking cherished memories, and creating diamond art pieces. She had a special knack for never forgetting a birthday and took pride in making others feel remembered and celebrated. Her spunky sense of humor, love of shopping, and fondness for Las Vegas trips made her a vibrant presence wherever she went.
She and Robert spent over two decades escaping Wisconsin winters to enjoy the sunshine in Florida — a tradition they both treasured.
Kathleen is survived by her loving children, Rachelle (Tim) Davis and Michael Crawford; her cherished grandchildren, Stephanie (Jimmy) Mertins, Zachary (Jessica) Crawford, and Olivia Davis; and her adored great-grandchildren: Tommy Francis, Christopher Crawford, and Alex Crawford.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert, and her siblings: William Hart, Paul Hart, Margaret Ruud, Phyllis Kent, David Hart, and Dick Hart.
She will be remembered for her warmth, wit, and unwavering love for her family. Kathleen’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers at Aurora Health at Home, Ridgewood Care Center, Hospice Alliance and Pleasant Point Senior Living. Their kindness and compassion were greatly appreciated by Kathleen and her family.
A visitation for Kathleen will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:30p.m., at Wilson Funeral Home in Racine. A private inurnment will be held on a later date at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
Kathleen always appreciated the beauty of flowers. In lieu of donations, the family kindly requests flowers to be sent to the funeral home prior to visitation.
