I have such great memories of June my entire life. She was the "babysitter" cousin that would sit between me and my sister at Church, (keep us from fighting) we would make candy runs to Uncle Claudes candy store, and in later years we certainly enjoyed a good laugh and talked about our parents and when they grew up.
June did love to laugh and when she did it just made you feel good all over. Her devotion to music and her family were priceless. She was very dedicated and loyal to her mother, father and her brother. They were a very close family and did spend quality time together by choice.
I also have found memories of visiting Wisconsin. She introduced me to a new world of northern living. She also had this taste in music from clasical, to pop, to woodstock to rock. Gene and June really loved all kinds of music.
I always enjoyed our talks as we "tried" to grow up. I also loved our trips to Dairy Queen.
June loved people- she always worried about the under dog- she commited her life work to trying to help others.
She will be missed. I know right now she is in heavan catching up with loved ones and likely singing a song. I can hear her sinign the Lords Prayer right now.
