Judith Ann Unrein's Obituary
Judith A. (Bloom) Unrein, 77, passed away at Villa at Lincoln Park on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
Judy was born in Racine on June 18, 1940 and was a lifelong Racine resident. On October 8, 1960, she was united in marriage to Samuel G. Unrein.
Judy was employed at Goldblatt’s department store, Yonkers in Regency Mall, and All Saints-Wheaton Franciscan Hospital. Some of Judy’s interests were gardening, crafting, baking and spending time with family.
Left to cherish Judy’s memory are her daughters: Dawn (Curt) Stephan and Kimberly Unrein; two sons: Christopher (Terrie) Unrein and Randy Unrein; two special grandchildren: Jace Unrein and Amy Stephan; sister, Roseann Woehl; sister-in-laws: Mary Jane Bloom, Louise Bloom, Diane Unrein, Eleanor Pozel, Kathleen Bohn and many other relatives and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel G. Unrein; her mother, Lucille (Reschke-Bloom) Celia and step father, Lawrence Celia; sisters: Caroline Dailey, Minnette Exner; brothers: LeRoy Bloom and Edward Bloom; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Unrein; brother-in-laws: Aaron Dailey, Duane Exner, Alexander “Bud” Unrein, David Bohn Sr; Mother-in-law, Bertha Unrein; and father-in-law, Simon Unrein.
A time of visitation for Judy will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home (1212 Lathrop Ave) on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 6 pm until 8 pm. A private interment at the cemetery will follow at a later date.
