Juanita Kubisiak's Obituary
Racine - Mrs. Juanita A. Kubisiak, 90, passed away Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - All Saints on July 20, 2010.
Juanita was born in Beloit to the late Milan and Bessie (nee: Mathews) McMillan on February 9, 1920. In Wisconsin Rapids, she was united in marriage to Chester Kubisiak and resided in Racine for 15 years.
Mrs. Kubisiak and Chester owned and operated a restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids for many years and live in City Point after their retirement. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed crochet, crafts and her porcelain dolls which she had made. She also loved taking care of her cat, Carol.
Juanita will be dearly missed by her two children, Geraldine Huebner of Racine and Clifford (Linda) Huebner of Kent, Illinois; five grandchildren, Joseph, Sheila (Brian) and Shelley Smullen and Mark and Elizabeth Huebner; six great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester in 1991; two brothers, Raymond and Douglas; one sister, Bessie McCann, and six other siblings that died in early childhood.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on July 25, 2010 at 5 pm. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 4 until the time of service. Private interment will be held at Mound Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Purrfect Home Shelter for cats.
