John Kah,'s Obituary
Racine - Mr. John P. Kah Jr., 87, passed away at his home on May 31, 2011.
John Jr. was born in Racine to the late John and Christina (nee: Deckert) Kah on August 17, 1923. He was united in marriage to June Willms in Fontana on April 5, 1947. Together they lived in Racine for 77 years.
Mr. Kah was employed at Jacobsen Manufacturing and retired in 1989. He was proud to serve in the United States Navy during World War II. He dearly loved his wife and his family. John is now celebrating his eternal life in heaven through his faith in Jesus Christ.
John is survived by his wife, June; two children, Sharon (Jack) Shisler and John (Donna) Kah III; five grandchildren, Cristina (Brian) Campbell, John F.(Sarah) Kah, Jamie (Derrick) Perrier, Jenna (Matt) Bardwell and Justin Kah; his great grand daughter, Sophia Campbell; one brother Jacob (Vie) Kah; one brother-in-law, Edward Klinkhammer; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth (George) Funk and Eva Klinkhammer.
Funeral services will be held at The Lutheran Chapel of the Cross on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 1 pm with Rev. Dan Feldscher officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 11 am until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to The Lutheran Chapel of the Cross Building Fund.
