Joe "Fuzzy" Wilson's Obituary
Joe “Fuzzy” Wilson, age 45, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Born on June 6, 1980, in Racine, Joe was a hardworking and devoted man who spent 30 years in the roofing industry, lending his skills and strong work ethic to multiple companies throughout his career. He took great pride in his work and the lasting impact he left on the homes and buildings he helped construct and repair.
Outside of work, Joe was an avid paintball enthusiast. He was also a devoted football fan, proudly cheering on the Green Bay Packers every season. Joe loved fishing, tattoos, and spending time outdoors.
Joe had a generous heart and a deep commitment to giving back. He volunteered his time helping build Tiny Homes at the Veterans Outreach, offering his craftsmanship to support those in need. One of his greatest joys was watching his niece Brianne box.
Joe will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Wendy Wilson; his brothers, Ken (Anna) Larson and Mike (Melissa) Christopherson; his sister, Jessi (David) McKellips; his nieces: Brianne (Turd), Shelby (Alien), Madelynn (Mad-Lynn), and Hope; and his nephews, James, Aiden (The Boy), and Tyler; as well as many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bruce and Shirley Wilson.
A service to celebrate Joe’s life will be held in early June. His strength, loyalty, humor, and generous spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
