Jodi Johnson-Zwieg's Obituary
Sullivan - Jodi Katherine Zwieg (nee: Francour), 44, passed away on January 20, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital after a well fought, three year battle with esophageal cancer.
Jodi was born in Racine to Robert and Katherine (nee: Burdick) Francour on August 31, 1965. She lived in Racine for most of her life but moved to Sullivan in 2007. In Sullivan, she was united in marriage to Paul A. Zwieg on January 31, 2009.
Jodi received a degree from the University of Phoenix and was employed at Harley Davidson in the Human Resources Department for 17 years and retired on November 17, 2009 due to her illness. She was a member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) and had a passion for motorcycling. She enjoyed camping and off roading with jeeps and had a love for dogs. Jodi was an inspirational person with a great sense of humor.
Jodi will be dearly missed by her husband, Paul; her step-children, Sarah and Andrew; her parents, Robert (Katherine) Francour; her brother and sister-in-law, Jason (Erin) Francour; her nephew, Elijah Francour; her mother-in-law, Carol (Carl) Anderson; her father-in-law, Phil (Nancy) Zwieg; her special friend, Daniel Johnson; and aunts, uncles, cousins, other nieces and nephews and many other friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral service will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday evening, January 25, 2010 from 5 until 8 pm and Tuesday morning, from 9:30 am until the time of service. Memorials may be made in Jodi's name to the American Cancer Society.
