Jimmie Madden's Obituary
Racine - Ms. Jimmie Lee Madden, 81, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 25, 2011.
Ms. Jimmie was born in Tuck Wiley, MS to the late Roger and Sudie Beatrice (nee: Hope) Wade on June 22, 1929. She lived in Mississippi most of her life until she moved to Racine in January of 2010. In Mississippi, she was united in marriage to Johnny Madden in 1948.
Ms. Jimmie was a Christian all her life. She was a strong independent lady who did a lot of handiwork. She was inventive and taught her children to be creative. She enjoyed cooking, crochet, knitting and playing guitar (self taught). Most importantly, Ms. Jimmie was a very virtuous woman with a good sense of humor. She loved everybody and took extra care of others.
Ms. Jimmie will be dearly missed by Bertha Mae Williams, Roy Roger Madden, Patricia Ann Madden, Yvonne Sconiers, Johnny Madden, Debra Bradly, Suzanne Madden-DeGroot, Latonya Marie Madden, Lydia Ann Mercado, Toni Lee Madden, Chavell Madden-Valentino and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Madden, daughter, Emma Lee Madden, granddaughter, Carmella Marie Mercado and her brother, OtisWade.
A funeral celebration will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 1 pm. Interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening, March 31, 2011 from 5 pm until 7 pm.
