Jesse Odell Turner's Obituary
Jesse Odell Turner, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 15, 2016.
Jesse was born on June 30, 1928 to Theodore and Cora (nee: Rhine) Turner. Jesse was united in marriage to Gladys Fields on November 11, 1950. He proudly served his nation in the United States Army. Jesse worked at manufacturing factories such as Modine and Bosch. He was a tremendous fan of the Chicago Cubs and loved his family dearly.
Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Gladys Turner; brother, Robert Turner; children, Donna (John) Buljubasic and Timothy Turner; grandchildren, Craig Buljubasic, Jill Buljubasic, Amy (Kyle) Amlong, Joshua Turner, and Jamie Turner; Great-grandchildren, Miranda Turner and Lucas Amlong; and many brother and sister-in-laws, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Cora Turner; brothers, Louie Turner and Alfred Pete Turner; and sisters, Goldie Krueger, Udena Schmidt, Mary Hahn, Ola Turner, and Nadene Turner.
A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Wilson Funeral Home with Holly Anderle officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
