Jeffrey "Jeff" Micheal Miller's Obituary
Clearwater, FL (formerly of Racine) - Jeffrey “Jeff” Micheal Miller, 54, passed away peacefully on December 9th at his home due to an unexpected heart-related event. He was the beloved son of Donald and Sandra Miller born on January 20, 1971, in Racine.
For 30 years, Jeff dedicated himself to working long hours as an industrial mechanical technician at SC Johnson Wax to provide for his family. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed entertaining and hosting family and friends, rarely missing an opportunity to gather everyone together for good food, drinks, and fun. He was always cracking jokes and making others smile and laugh, while ensuring everyone felt comfortable and cared for. A proud father, he cherished the many activities and moments he shared with his children over the years.
Jeff was always up for an outdoor adventure whether it was grilling, fishing, swimming, or biking. He enjoyed trips up north with his dad, uncle and cousin as well as hunting trips with long-time friend Mike and his dad, along with some other friends. He enjoyed working out and he loved the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed watching the games with his dad when he was able to. He was an avid fan and proud of his team even when they lost.
Jeff is survived by his son, Dominic Miller; daughter, Samara Miller; his former spouse and mother of his children, Tammy Fitzpatrick; sisters: Jody (Ted) Riendeau and Julie (Max) Munoz; nephews: Collin (Janae) Wesley, Jared Monson and Gannon Munoz; niece, Sydney Monson; great-nephew, Levi Wesley; and lifelong best friend and brother, Brian Exner; as well as other extended family members, cousins and many friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Donald Miller; mother, Sandra Miller; uncles: David Miller, Dean Miller, and Randall Laehr; aunt, Barbara Laehr; grandpa and grandma, Everett (Bud) and Irene Laehr; grandpa, Edwin Miller; Marge Miller and Grace Miller; cousins: Phillip Hart and Fredrick Laehr.
A memorial service for Jeff will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 12:30 P.M. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:30 A.M. until the time of service. Inurnment and committal services will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
Although his absence is deeply felt, the memory of his laughter, kindness, love, dedication to family, and hard work will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him, leaving behind precious memories that will be forever cherished.
