Jean Carol Salza's Obituary
Muskego-Jean Carol Salza, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Vitas Healthcare in West Allis.
Jean was born to the late Joseph Jr. and Margaret (nee Meingast) Feilen on November 12, 1942, in Milwaukee. Jean worked at several places throughout her life, some of which included Milwaukee Insurance, Classic Lanes, and the Emory Clark Foundation.
Jean had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed playing the slot machines at local casinos. Jean was quite the cook and had many recipes she would share with her family and friends. In her earlier years, she enjoyed fishing. Above all, Jean had a strong faith in God and was a loving mother.
Jean will be deeply missed by her son, Tony Salza; sisters: Kathleen D. (William) McElwee and JoAnn L. (Patrick) Calliari; nieces and nephews, Michele (Jeff) Hintz, Daniel (Lisa) McElwee, Ryan (Dani) Calliari, and Jenna (Erik) Nowicki; great-nieces and great-nephews: Ethan, Brady, Erin, Hayden, Madison, and Emery; Tony’s father, James N. Salza; along with several other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jean will be held at St. Matthias Catholic Church on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. David Cooper officiating. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the church on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of mass. Interment will follow at St. Matthias Cemetery.
