Jean Ann Micech's Obituary
Racine - Jean Ann Micech, 79, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center – Mount Pleasant.
Born on May 20, 1945, in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, Jean was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She dedicated over 25 years to Insinkerator in Racine, where she built lasting friendships and a strong work ethic. In her later years, she found great joy in volunteering at Little Saints Child Care, where she was affectionately known as "Grandma Jean." Her kindness, patience, and understanding touched the hearts of many, especially the children she cared for so deeply. Jean was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all else.
Jean will be deeply missed by her sons: Robert (Becky) Bollis, Carl Robert Micech, and Brian Micech; her grandchildren: Cody and Casey Bollis, Nathaniel and Jett Micech, and Carmine Micech; her sisters: Esperanza Borup and Antoinette (Cookie) Niemiec; and her special friend, Jeffrey Culver. She also leaves behind countless little ones from Little Saints, who were blessed to have her as their honorary grandmother.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Margie Price.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Jean’s final resting place will be at Graceland Cemetery in Racine.
At the family’s request, memorials in Jean’s name may be made to Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center Inpatient Rehabilitation Fund or to Aurora Medical Center – Mount Pleasant President’s Fund for special needs.
