Jamie, your dad, Larry Oberholtzer, and I, your step-mom Jean, loved you very much and held you close in our hearts and in our prayers. Rest in peace. Jean Oberholtzer
Brother, I am so blessed to have had you in my life. I so enjoyed our visit last Christmas in my kitchen over coffee. I especially enjoyed your story of how Grandpa Wally would give you pieces of a hershey bar so you would get up early for fishing. We talked about Nana Oberholtzer's Christmas fudge and how I got you to do my chores for a piece of my fudge after yours was all eaten. I told you how proud I was of you for playing music all these years. You told me you kept a napkin I had written "play on" 35 years ago. You were sorry that Doug wasn't home when you visited, telling me to say hello from you and that you always liked him. You spoke about Christmases past with fond memories of your niece/ god-daughter, Sarah Helding. I wish we would have had more time for many more visits. I will cherish our last conversation forever. Today Mom O. stood up in church and requested prayers for all who are grieving your passing. It was a beautiful and peaceful moment. I understand there will be a celebration of life service at Bethania. (I am currently in Arkansas and unable to return for the service.) Bethania is where you were baptized into Christ and now where your passing is celebrated - a completion of the circle of life. I miss you brother. Rest in peace. Love Laura
