James "Jim" H. Saxton's Obituary
Racine - James “Jim” Herman Saxton, 68, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 9, 2022.
Jim was born in Sacramento, CA, to Lory Vaughn and Lorraine Evelyn (nee Robelia) Saxton on June 7, 1953. He was united in marriage to Karen Jean Rohlinger on September 10, 1983. Together they had three wonderful children.
Jim was employed as a loan officer at both M&I Bank and Walworth State Bank. He was promoted to Vice President. Walworth State Bank kept Jim involved in business and community. He was a member of the Lake Geneva West Chamber of Commerce, acting as both president and treasurer. Likewise, he was a member of the Rotary Club. Jim resigned in 2010. After his resignation, he worked some miscellaneous jobs, because he was always one to keep busy.
Jim was proud of his lawn and appreciated taking meticulous care of it. He enjoyed cooking, computers, and woodworking, making pieces such as an automatic treat dispenser. Jim was also talented in architectural design, designing two of the family homes. He was good with people, but better with words. Jim will be most remembered as a charismatic storyteller.
Jim is survived by his daughters: Jessica (Patrick) Cleveland, Lauren (Patrick) Burch, and Kelly (Ryne) Warrensburg; his daughters’ mother, Karen Rohlinger; grandchildren: Madyson Faulkner, Emily Hamlin, Elizabeth Cleveland, Thomas Burch, Kinsley Warrenburg, Amelia Burch, and Boone Warrenburg; sisters: Julie (Paul) Endter and Nancy (Randy) Glocke; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: Lory Saxton and Lorraine Wendlandt.
Jim was cremated and a celebration of life will be planned in the future.
The family would like to thank the first responders that gave immediate care to Jim.
